Registered psychologist in Ontario · CPBAO #6321. Assessment and therapy in Polish and English.

Why this matters

Research suggests therapy in your mother tongue is more effective for early-childhood emotional material and family-of-origin work. But it is not always one-language-wins – for Polish-Canadian clients, moving between Polish and English inside a single session is often helpful.

More importantly: a CPO-registered psychologist can provide formal assessments – psycho-educational, ADHD, gifted – that a psychotherapist (RP) cannot. That distinction often decides whether a child accesses an IEP at school.

Who this is for

  • Polish families in GTA and Halton who want their child assessed in Polish or bilingually
  • First-generation adults navigating emigration grief, anxiety, burnout
  • Polish-Canadians whose English is their second language and who want to talk about important things in the language they think in
  • Bicultural families where one generation speaks Polish and the other English
Start

We talk in Polish or English – whichever is more comfortable.

We start with a short phone conversation to see whether I am the right fit. No commitment.
